Biography

I live in Sarasota, Florida. I am a father, step-father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. My stories are based on life experiences. Most are written with a story-teller's bent to make them fun, exciting, or scary, maybe a bit more so than they might have been when they happened. I grew up in Sarasota. It’s on the West-Coast of Florida and living in perpetual summer, with beaches, the Gulf of Mexico, sub-tropical forests, and a circus or two in my backyard has to be as close to the ideal childhood as any boy could ask for. In my opinion it may rival life on the Big Muddy. I have been an auto-mechanic for many years and served a stint of about eight years as a deputy sheriff. I have done many things in my lifetime. I took a turn at being a cowboy, newspaper pressman, radio engineer, and racecar driver.

Inspiration

Ive been telling stories to friends, family, children, grandchildren and now great-grandchildren all my life. With their urging, I attempted to put the stories I told them and others on paper.
