Biography

Penn Bobby Singh is an engineer by education and profession and a philosopher by choice. While working as a technology consultant in the Washington DC area for the past thirty years, Penn has been taking a keen interest in politics, social issues and current affairs. Penn has worked as an international journalist, editor, newsman and a talk show producer.

Inspiration

I was inspired by James Michener, Alex Hailey and James Clavell, while writing my book. As a child of the seventies, I am influenced heavily by the events, music and the culture of the 1970s. Steve Jobs has been an inspiration, but also people from diverse fields such as Mohammad Ali, Nelson Mendala and Bob Marley. Lyndon Johnson is my favorite president, because of his larger than life personality who had huge successes in tackling domestic issues while being totally defined by the failure in Vietnam.
