Biography

I'm a retired Emergency Room M. D. who practiced in Phoenix,AZ. I've been active in all types of boating from rivers, local lakes, and Lake Powell to the Sea of Cortez. I've fished them all, both with flies and lures. A lot of hunting, both small and large game. Prior to med school, I was very active in vocal music including solos, quartets, and choruses. In the Air Force, where I organized and directed a chorus, I spent time in New Mexico, Guam and Thule, Greenland. I was an avid tennis player till I tore up both shoulders. Now I spend time writing, walking my two spoiled dogs and getting in my wife's way.

Inspiration

Numerous authors have influenced me including, in no particular order, Stephen King, Michael Connelly, Nelson DeMille, Gore Vidal, Greg Iles, William Shakespere, J.R.R. Tolkein, David Baldachi and especially Will Rogers. There are a host of other authors that don't come to mind at the moment.
