Biography
I was born in the south Indian city of Bangalore, India. I grew up reading Archie comics and Enid Blyton books. I went to medical school in India and then immigrated to the United States to pursue a career in child and adolescent psychiatry at Yale. My life experiences, Eastern beliefs and my work with children in NY has shaped my first novel. I currently reside in Westchester County, New York with my family.Inspiration
9/11 was a difficult day for many. It was one day post 9/11 that a story flashed in my mind. It took me 5 more years to finish it.Favorite NB Titles
