Biography

I may be considered a late bloomer. While eveyone can write, not everyone writes for reasons of pleasure. Instead of saying 'what if' many years down the road, I chose to say 'why not now.' I thought that writing about my experiences as a mall Santa would enhance the journey, it did. I found that writing about slices of life, social commentary etc., was okay to do and that people would read and comment. February 2009 was my opening to short story fiction as I entered my first writing contest and took second place. The vault was open from there on; I subsequently finished first in three writing contests and found my ability to write in different themes and points of view was extremely rewarding. I am currently editing an in the works book, which I hope to post on this site and distribute as well. I am always looking for ways to improve my writing. I have written 30 or more short stories and always have a few in the works. One of the short stories has expanded into three published chapters, with chapter 4 soon completed; this may be my first novel, when all is done. What started as a hobby is now a vice, and it's all to provide stories to you the worthy reader.

Inspiration
