Biography

I was born and raised in Gulfport, MS. I have always been an eccentric person, even in childhood. It didn’t help that I had an uncle that was even more eccentric then I was. He was into art and animation so I spent lots of time playing in his supplies and watching cartoons and anime. In my sophomore year in college I enlisted into the U.S. Air Force. I had a roommate that was in the Guard and she convinced me it would be a good idea. That was my original intention, but I ended up on Active Duty in the intelligence field. During my enlistment I got married, had a kid, and got divorced. I also managed to rack up a few metals and do 3 stints in the local Honor Guard. I don’t regret the skills I learned, but it just wasn’t the life for me. I put in 5 years and then left to move to Hollywood and become an actress. My time in the military really helped me strike out on my own in California. Hollywood can eat you alive if you are not prepared and able to take care of yourself. I met some interesting folks and celebrities but it didn’t turn out to be as fun as I thought it was going to be. There is a lot of inside politics that just doesn’t interest me. I can totally see how so many celebrities end up in rehab. I did meet my soul mate out there so it wasn’t a wasted trip. We packed up and moved to TN for better weather and a better priced housing market. I fell in love with this place when I was performing my duties with the Honor Guard. About a year after moving here I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. This makes you really think about your plans in life. I got the audio book to “The Secret” and it changed my life. I decided I was going to be the writer I’ve always wanted to be. I am currently working on a series of nonfiction books and would like to ultimately become a paid radio talk show personality. I like helping people and making people laugh. I want to help people achieve happiness in their lives.
