Biography

Years toiling nights and weekends for that MBA proved to be wasted when the corporate curmudgeons determined (more than once) that perhaps I should try my skills at another venue. So, here I am, a Law and Order junkie, cranking out the type of stories that kept me sane during endless business travel, enthralled on lounge chairs under relentless heat, and up all night on many occasions (at least I hope that's what I'm accomplishing). At fif.., oh gosh, I can't say it, let's surmise however, I saw thirty more than a few years back, I join Priscilla Taylor for journeys I never took, journeys I'm glad I missed, and even some journeys I wish I'd experienced.

Inspiration

Someone reminded me recently that "I'd always wanted to write." Hmmm. Perhaps I had, perhaps I should thank the bean counters for forcing me to follow a dream instead of the monthly nut. My creditors would probably disagree... My inspiration is simply creativity unleashed by events I never expected to encounter. Each day Priscilla takes my hand and off we go, sometimes in harmony; sometimes she drags me kicking and screaming away from lethargy and reruns. In truth, she forces me to learn, to think, to feel, to experience people and places beyond my realm. I love her, I abhor her, and at times, I pity her. But, she's my soulmate in an odd, writer's kind of way, and every day I'm glad we found each other.
