Biography

I arrived on earth through the portal of Southern California and was raised in the historic river town of St. Charles, Missouri. In my youth, I enjoyed the creative process more than most children. Whether drawing, writing, or merely playing, the joy of creating weaved into my spirit and remains there today. After a successful thirteen year career in Marketing and IT, I suddenly realized that if I didn't write a novel, I would regret it for the rest of my life. Several months after this epiphany, I left my job and began work on DREAMSTONE. It is now a "real" book and a true dream come true. If I could go back in time and visit the 10-year-old instance of me, I know he would be pleased that he didn't grow up and lose the ability to dream and create.

Inspiration

Many creatives have influenced me through the years. Some include Piers Anthony, Orson Scott Card, Isaac Asimov, Jack Higgins, John Saul, Steve Berry, Timothy Zahn, Jules Verne, and I must pay some tribute to Gene Roddenberry, George Lucas, Steven Spielburg, and John Williams.
