Biography

Monica hails from the East Coast originally, moved to San Jose, CA and lived there for 30 years. Now, she has settled in the Midwest near St. Louis, MO. Of course I am an author but have lived my entire life dabbling in the arts. From owning a small community theatre, acting in dramas and musicals to doing radio commercials, it has been quite a lark. My love for animals keeps calling me to write a book about my cat Punky who started her life in a trash compactor. Someday, perhaps. My passion is writing stories and poetry about things that either teach a lesson or have meaning. To touch someones' heart or keep them turning the pages is what make writing worthwhile. Accentuate the positve in life - be good to yourself and others - and you can't help but be happy and content in life. Go after your own passions! And never be afraid of rejection or opinion; it is what you think that matters most. Love to all the readers and authors out there in the world.
