Biography

In addition to her personal writing, novels, short stories and blogging as well as non-fiction articles, Michelle L. Devon, through her company, Accentuate Services, has recently contracted editing with major publishers, independent small publishers, and several editorial / literary review agencies, and she continues to expand her company's full-service editing, proofreading, rewriting, and ghostwriting services.

Michelle L. Devon (Michy) currently lives and loves with her unique and amazing family, including her two children, ages 19 and 13, and a house full of furry critters, including Rex the Funny Bunny, in the Permian Basin area of West Texas.

"Writing is more than a profession," she says, "it's a lifelong dream and a passion. Who could ask for more than to wake every day to do what you love the most and get paid for it too! I am a writer. It's not what I do; it's who I am."

Inspiration

Robert Fulghum is my mentor, he just doesn't know it. When I was a child, I read every word he wrote, and he inspired me to start writing short quips about my life, using his inspiring, lesson learning, but often humorous outlook.

Erma Bombeck... she just makes me laugh.
