Biography
Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Michelle Kane survived nine years of Catholic school to go on to a public university, Eastern Michigan, where she earned a degree in English Language and Literature. Kane also completed a Masters in the Art of Teaching Reading and Language Arts at Oakland University. She is a certified Reading Specialist for grades K-12 in the state of Michigan. Despite grumblings from friends and family, Kane relocated to the west coast to write her first novel, DESTINATION SCOUTS. She is currently writing a young adult novel, KIDS OF 8 MILE HIGH, and teaching in the Detroit area. She lives with her husband and son in southeastern Michigan. CONFESSIONS OF A CATHOLIC SCHOOLGIRL is her second novel.
