    Biography

As soon as I could write words on paper I wanted to be a rich and famous writer. I figured I'd do it before I turned nine and started the fourth grade. As an adult I made money writing but for other people by authoring several grants for non-profits. I also contributed to professional nursing and midwifery journals. I wrote novels and self-help books during seven maternity leaves. Now I write short stories on the beach in Costa Rica where I enjoy a raw vegan lifestyle.

    Inspiration

The best summer of my life was a vacation at my aunt's house at age 11. Edgar Allen Poe was on her bookshelf. Another author I loved is Pearl Buck. I was influenced by my father who sold a few short stories in the forties and by my maternal grandfather who edited a newspaper. I had a great journalism teacher. Life is an inspiring adventure of birth, death, love and loss in many parts of the world.
