Biography

I was born and raised in California, lived for about 30 years in Huntington Beach, Irvine and Aliso Viejo. I have two children, my son Chris is a doctor with the Air Force, bound for Afganistan in March. (I cried when he told me) My daughter is a R.N. in a hospital emergency room in Las Vegas, NV. I babysit my two grandchildren, Drew,7yrs old and Kaylee, 5yrs old. They helped me write Melvin and the Toothbrush Room. I was 50years old when I decided to give in to my "nagging little voice" and finally put Soujon's Journey to paper. It has been a wonderful adventure to finally write and complete my first book. I am currently searching for an agent or publisher for the two books. I am working a "day job" so I can keep the mortgage payments up, feed 3 dogs, 3 cats, 3 fish, myself and indulge my grandchildren. I have started my 3rd book based on a character from Soujon's Journey.

Inspiration

My inspiration is that I want to have my children and grandchildren to be able to say that "Mimi" created wonderful stories that will last generations.
