You can become a fan of her work or hire her to edit or write for you at her website at http://www.marisa.com.au . When she isn't blathering on about something on her website, she usually plays drums in an indie rock band and becomes addicted to computer games especially those DOS based adventure game ones. Or she reads something from her extensive library that spans three continents and seems to be catalogued by a cat called Trouble.
Inspiration
Inspiration tends to come from living life, being involved, trying most new things that come along at least once, not being too afraid of being hurt and from a lot of 'What if?' type questions. The character cannot be accounted for though - they seem to turn up all on their own.
