Biography

Hello, my name is Marc Anthony Benson and I just published my poetry book on Amazon Kindle Books for $2.99. I am a first time publisher so I would be very appreciative in getting honest reviews of my work. "Iambic Thought: I think, therefore Iamb!" is my first attempt at publishing. I have been writing poetry since my sophomore year in high school. I can still remember the assignment in English class from my teacher Mr. Harp. The assignment was to write 5 poems in a classical style; each poem was to be read and critiqued by at least three of my peers. All five poems received resoundingly positive critiques, and Mr. Harp published all five of them in his end of the year anthology of his students most memorable work. Fast forward to present day; after years of saying that I would publish, my daughter found my printed manuscript while cleaning out some boxes. My daughter spent some time reading my manuscript and later urged me to do something with a skill that I have been hiding since high school. So to my daughter I owe any success that I gain from my book to my daughter. That's why the proceeds will go to funding her college education.
