Biography
I live in Chicago with my partner and our two spoiled cats, Shubert and Mr. Grant. I love movies (favorites: Robert Altman's NASHVILLE and A WEDDING, Woody Allen's ANNIE HALL and MANHATTAN MURDER MYSTERY, THE AWFUL TRUTH w/Cary Grant and Irene Dunne). I love old soaps like KNOTS LANDING, FALCON CREST, FLAMINGO ROAD and DYNASTY--and also SOAP and MARY HARTMAN. I love Mary, Bob and Carol who made Saturday nights seem worthwhile back in the 1970s. My favorite MARY episodes are: "Edie Gets Married", "Happy Birthday, Lou", "The Dinner Party", "Put On a Happy Face" and, of course, "Chuckles Bites The Dust". And a few of my favorite authors: Armistead Maupin, John Irving, Anne Tyler, Michael Malone (who wrote a wonderful book called DINGLEY FALLS) and Gore Vidal (whose book, DULUTH, I dearly love).Inspiration
