    Inspiration

My mother was a poet who instilled the joy of writing and reading in my early life by taking me to the library and introducing me to the new worlds you can discover through books. I fell in love with Marguerite Henry and her Misty of Chincoteauge books and have been writing ever since! I'm a huge fan of the paranormal and am Native American, so intertwinging the two was a natural way to find my niche. It's working! My first book is being adapted to film and is being called the next "Twilight!"
