Biography
Lois A. Enochs was raised in Ohio but has lived and worked in Europe, Texas and Arizona. She is a Midwest girl whose daily life has not been dissimilar to many of yours. She single parented, worked hard and struggled with internal dialogue about life and God—just as most of us do. On the surface, her life would appear to others as not so different from theirs. And this would be true—on the surface. However, here and there, experiences were taking place that would later prove to be less than typical. While employed by the Department of Defense, Lois received numerous promotions, was awarded an Air Force Commendation Medal (quite unusual for a civilian), the Inspector General’s Professional Performer Award, and was hand-picked for an assignment in Europe. She decided (after twenty-one years of federal service), to try her hand in the private sector where she contributed significantly in the rapid expansion of a well-known retain chain; later identified large monthly savings for a major healthcare organization in their telecommunications department; and helped launch a U.S. sales and distribution location for a German company where she served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Administration. Backing up a bit, at a very young age Lois thought it was perfectly normal to know exactly what other people were feeling, to know beyond any doubt when someone was telling a lie, or to answer questions before people asked. Later, in many situations she started to realize that if she thought about something strongly enough, it happened. This began her private mental game of making things happen with her mind. She would later come to know this process as visualization and would meet people who believed her and understood this process. Life began to provide Lois with situations and results that could be termed supernatural. She quickly learned not to speak of them. Situations where the synchronicity of events defied mathematical odds happened with great regularity. Her faith was strengthened, her curiosity grew and she knew there were invisible forces working closely in her life. Eventually, at nearly forty years of age, Lois began attracting people into her life with knowledge of such circumstances and a whole new life began…a life not only of consciously creating desired circumstances, but of understanding the how and why it all worked. This naturally led to understanding what not to do which was creating so many difficult situations and blocking desired results. Over the years, close friends encouraged Lois to write a book about her experiences. Following a serious car accident, she took the time to leave the business world and pursue her more creative side. The next several years were spent as a photographer, photo-artist and writer—which resulted in Miracles Only Come in One Size. These true accounts (intertwined with the Universal Laws that brought them about) create a very readable combination of stories and how-to’s. They aptly reveal how our thoughts, words and behavior create our every circumstance—intentionally or unintentionally. We don’t choose to use the law of cause-and-effect any more than we choose to use the law of gravity. But we can choose to use it deliberately, consciously, and carefully to create good for ourselves and others. What not to do is equally important and is overlooked in so many teachings today. Using her true experiences (such as we all encounter on a regular basis) as examples, Lois makes this aspect quite easy to understand. Lois has a unique way of informing readers about their personal creative power. She is quick to point out that the book is in no way her life story, but stories of her life. While writing about a near death episode, an apparent visit by an angel, finding the perfect home or job, psychic experiences, answers through dreams, or bringing great results from seemingly difficult circumstances (through use of affirmations and faith), she is able to make the reader see how spiritual laws fit into everyday life. The great inspirational author, Catherine Ponder, endorsed Miracles Only Come in One Size as, “A fantastic read!” From readers she hears comments of how it changed their life, how they now understand their life, how after many years of study they now know why their affirmations have not been working…what they have been doing wrong. Through understanding comes control. Understanding Universal Laws and how to use them is the magic—the fairy dust—of our own personal fairy tale. Lois has one goal with her book and newsletter and that is to help others move forward to a better life by sharing information and true experiences of how to do so. There is so much avoidable pain and suffering and it is time we all do our part to help each other rise above it.
Inspiration
As happens with anyone who listens to their instincts, I began noticing “signs” here and there about journaling, writing down special experiences in your life, friends saying, “You should write a book,” after sharing some stories, etc. Friends had encouraged me to do so for years, but now the ideas were coming to me left and right. I had already begun writing some major events but did not know what to do with them. Whenever someone suggested writing a book about my experiences, I thought in terms of biography. That would be impossible. As I mention in Miracles Only Come in One Size, my life doesn’t really have a story. But it does have lots of “stories.” As many of you know, when we are supposed to do something, the Universe doesn’t let us off the hook until it is done. I always fell back on the excuse that I did not have time to write a book. Well, the synchronicity of events that transpired left me at home, on disability, recovering from an auto accident for quite some time. Used to being quite busy, I continued to document, document, document. There is a story in the book that tells how I went off to a cabin in the woods in New Mexico to somehow format all my writings into a book (which seemed an impossible task). I got extremely ill and got no work done, but when I was finally able to drive home, shortly after leaving the cabin, the answer came as to what should be in the book and the title itself. Somewhere between chastising God wasting my week of solitude when I knew I needed to write, and reflecting on the miracle that happened while I was there, it all became instantly clear. It’s a great story, one of my favorites. I hope you will read it.
