Of all the things I wanted to be when I grew up- an oceanographer, an astronaut, and many others, I keep coming back to writing.

Biography
Started out as a Jersey Girl. Best growing up experience was when my mom raised/trained German Shepards and trained shepards from Germany, and sent them back to Germany after training. We could only speak German to these dogs. Too bad I forgot most of the German. Later we raced Standardbred horses all over the east coast. I miss that. Sorry that my kids did not grow up around horses like I did. Right now we are traveling carnival game owners. Several months out of the year we travel, the other part of the year we are home. I have finally gotten the courage to look into travel writing. It was something I was always interested in. I interview everyone I meet everywhere I go. Make short films out of it. I really dig that. Love photography. Interested finally in selling some of my work. Why not get paid for some of that stuff. 10% is great. The rest is crap. I think that is pretty normal. With all the travel I need to find out who to sell my photos to for calendars maybe. With the carnival business I finally get time to read again! I missed that while being a Safety Director for a trucking company hauling band and stage gear for big stars. Then there was only time to read industry/technical writing. Now I read Koontz, Steele, King, Cook, and Crieghton every chance I get. Finished a script. Working on another. I am raising two incredible teenage boys. One is writing now, but only to make money on essay contests at school and online. But it is a start. I know he will not be a writer, but at least he is writing.
Inspiration
Life influences me to write. A news story catches my eye and I may have a new novel to research and write. A converation with family and friends may flash a great concept off something that originally sounds silly. My kids and I play this game...That would make a great (fill in the blank)short story, movie, novel. What fun.
