Biography

Leigh Byrne grew up in middle Tennessee and western Kentucky. Her first novel, "Call Me Tuesday" was inspired by her own true-life experience with horrific childhood abuse. She now lives a peaceful life in Evansville, IN with her husband, who, ironically, managed to earn a college degree without reading a single book. She is working on her second novel.

Inspiration

My inspiration is really simple and straightforward. Ever since the third grade when I wrote my first essay paper and the teacher read it aloud for the class, writing has been my passion, and at times, my escape mechanism. I just so happened to have had an unfortunate, bizarre childhood experience which I felt compelled to write about.
