Been in publishing for 30 years, lost job and wrote THE SNARK HANDBOOK. Been snarky since birth....

Biography
I was born into a family of itinerant gypsy writers that travelled the countryside looking for book fairs and library sales. Schooled by bored bookstore clerks who were tired of pointing out the romance section and books with the word "love" in the title, I became fascinated by the process and quickly went to work for...wait for it...a romance publisher. 30 years and 5 major publishers later, I became the victim of the economy and a dedicated practioner of the Peter Principle. Out of work for the first time, I wrote the Snark handbook, both as a release and to stay out of my wife's way. The rest, as they so cliched-ly (?) say, is publishing history.
