Biography

I'm a 17 year old senior at a performing arts school in Florida. I've majored in creative writing for the past 6 1/2 years of my life and am surrounded by it on a daily basis. I grew up in a Southern city but my roots are in the Northern country. I consider myself a pretty independent person due to various life circumstances and I think that shines through in my writing. I've studied under the wings of playwright Addae Moon (Notes from the Bottle Tree) and novelist Will Napier (Summer of the Cicadas).

Inspiration

Most of my writing comes from the people I meet everyday. I like to imagine what it is that makes people wake up every morning and what they're thinking as they drive to work or roam the halls at school.
