Biography

Hello. My name is Kara Kirkendoll. I am from Missouri and I have two loving children as well as three step-children. They all live with me and I love every minute of it. I enjoy reading all kinds of books. My favorite though is paranormal romance. My mind is constantly spinning with new ideas, if only my hands could type as quickly as my thoughts come! As any writer, I have worked very hard to accomplish my dreams. Now that I have published my book "Ghost of a Chance" and am almost finished with my next novel, I feel that I am finally on my way! Currently I work as an Accounts payable specialist. I have an Associate's degree in Business/Accounting and am almost finished with my Bachelor's in Business/Finance. I stay very busy, but I always find time for my love of reading and writing. Working a full-time job, a part-time job, going to school, and raising a family! Writing is very important to me and I hope that I can get far enough with it to really make something of myself.

Inspiration

From a very small age I have always had a very creative mind. I started writing poetry whenever I was about eleven and I was always dreaming up new stories. It has been a life long dream of mine. I think that as my children started growing too fast I realized that it was time to give in to my dreams and make them a reality. Of course writing has always been MY dream, but now my children have inspired me to make it more. I want them to be proud of me, and I want to be proud of myself!
