Biography

Hello all, I'm a 32 year old corn fed Iowa boy. Which is a funny expression because I hate corn. A more accurate expression would be "Cow Fed" I guess. I've been married for 12 years, all the ups and downs and have a son and daughter. My son is a well meaning easily excitable 10 year old while my daughter, 3 yrs old, seems to have crawled from the pits of Dante's Inferno. I write about whatever strikes me, which generally leads me to many unfinished products, but from them I usually can find a piece or two that I will complete.

Inspiration

My dad was reader. All my young life he read everything he could get his hands on. I started reading authors like Stephen King and the like in 3rd grade. I think this helped to develop an over active imagination which had to be put to use. I can't draw or paint, so I write. Over the years my writing has developed from large fantasy worlds, exotic characters and improbable situations to more life based, observational subjects. Having kids has a way of grounding you and helping you appreciate the possible as much as the seemingly impossible.
