Biography

Age 72. Education is pre-PhD. Years and years in the computer business. Work part time as an "Avon Lady," and have been very successful at it. Began to write because a New York agent told me I'd never be a writer. More than 65 books later I've had some outstanding successes with major publishers and a whole lot of fun getting my ideas into shape for publication.

Inspiration

The inspiration is simple: I have a lot to say and this is one way to reach the broadest audience. What drives me to write, however, is something mysterious, something that keeps me up nights. The ability to transmit my thoughts rapidly through my fingers is also a great help. I learned very early, also, that the best writer is an avid reader. I have books everywhere -- every bathroom, on the night stand, by the TV, and in all my vehicles. I'm reading all the time and learning how the experts do it. To the best of my ability, I employ every device I learn.
