Biography

I live in Glendale, Arizona with my life partner of twenty-years and our dogs Phebe, Scooter and Chester; as well as our cats Spooky and Tiddles. I am a happily retired Senior Network Engineer from Qwest Communications; which gives me unlimited time to pursue my first loves... reading and writing.

Inspiration

Because I write mystery/suspense, my main inspiration is the daily newspaper. Because of the ever present evils in this world, I will NEVER lack for a good story idea. Working this way guarantees that I will never suffer from writer's block. Every day I browse the world newspaper looking for stories about crime against man/woman or crime against nature; only collecting the headlines in my writing journals that reach out and grab me by the throat and make my spine tingle. I never read the copy as not to taint my story line. I then spin a web, from my always warped imagination, for my private investigator to solve with a recipe containing a good helping of humor like Sue Grafton and procedural accuracy like Patricia Cornwell with just a dash of over-the-edge suspense like Dean Koontz.
