I am a first-time Author. My husband and I have been married for 22+ yrs. We live in the Midwest with our four doggies. We have 2 daughters and 6 lovely grandchildren. I have been thinking about going offline awhile so I can have some "alone time" with JESUS, which I desperately need! So many things to do, and so many sites to keep up for my books and all that, promos, book signings and the like! It seems that we just get ourselves in so many things and stay so busy that somehow our life just isn't as close to JESUS as it once was, you know? At least that is how it seems to me. Inspiration

The inspiration of my ideas for my books of which Katie Bear is my grand- children and my own children. Katie Bear is my first kiddie book. She sat on the shelf for about 10 yrs. til I finally got it published. I believe all the children that read The Adventures Of Katie Bear will love the little bear and all of her friends in the Big Woods. I have more books ready to publish and the main inspiration in my writing is to "put myself" in the story and let the reader "live the story through my eyes". And I believe it works very well in all genres of books.
