Biography

Born in California, I grew up in the remote area of Zayante Canyon, in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Along with two older brothers, my parents moved us to the sparsely populated area when I was seven years old. With only the most basic of necessities, the remote wilderness allowed a young mountain boy ample territory to explore. Such beauty and peaceful mountain ranges created a perfect environment for my imagination to flourish, to create glorious worlds and stories in which to dwell. Presently, I live in San Jose, CA with my wife and son, spending my time writing, playing music and seriously enjoying my family. I thrive on music, rich red wine, my family and cult films. Musically, I listen to many genre's, with an affinity for 60's - 70's rock, hard-core punk and metal. I feel a kinship with Norse Mytho’s and dwell on factual history. I am a cancer which means I bark at full moons and drip passion, almost to a detriment for discussing certain topics.

Inspiration

Inspiration comes in many forms, from films, music to general conversations. I am mostly inspired by my environment growing up. When ever I return to my parents house in the deep mountains, my imagination batteries recharge.
