Biography

Judy Laddon is an award-wining author, journalist and publisher who decided to write the story of the most intriguing woman she knows. She and two colleagues recently received a first-place award for investigative journalism from the national Society of Professional Journalists. Laddon has written several popular books about spiritual growth that have been translated into five languages. A Spokane, Washington resident, she is the former co-publisher and editor of Spokane Magazine and Camas Magazine.

Inspiration

"My life was falling apart when I joined a women's discussion group that met weekly at Sally Pierone's house over 20 years ago. (The group has continued to this day.) Not only did Sally help pull me together, but I learned fascinating details of her life journey. These lessons tend to be both profound and funny, and I couldn't resist writing about the most fascinating woman I've ever known."
