Biography

J.T. McCalla is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fishing, boating, and camping with his family. A true renaissance man, J.T. is an accomplished gourmet cook and loves to travel. He enjoys local theater and all venues of music -- with the exception of rap, which he claims to be allergic to. He is a supporter of a local shelter for the homeless, local food banks and a local animal shelter. He says in a previous life he believes he was a shepherd.

Inspiration

J.T. McCalla is cofounder and served as the executive director of a multidisciplinary chronic pain treatment facility for over 20 years. He has been associated with numerous hospitals around the U.S. He has always known how to share a good story and has lectured extensively on chronic pain, human sexual dysfunction, and communications. J.T. believes passion is the key to all endeavors and applies that credo to his writing -- both fiction and non-fiction -- and to all other areas of his life.
