Biography

I was born in DC and raised in Maryland. I earned my Bachelor's Degree at Shepherd College and my Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling at Bowie University. I had a 32 year career in education. I’m a retired high school teacher/guidance counselor. I have experienced divorce from both sides. I wrote my book using my life and work experiences to heal others heal from the emotional pain of divorce.

Inspiration

I researched healing after divorce articles and books while going through my divorce and I have used those topics in my book to assist others dealing with the aftermath of divorce. The chapters provide a personal checklist on separated and divorced topics and are supported with case studies, journal questions for reflection and healing, and prayer journals with Biblical scripture references for those needing to know that they are not alone and that God still loves them.
