Biography

Born in North Carolina, and raised in Hampton, Va, Tibbs is a byproduct of a Christian home, loving parents and a solid family life. His early years were spent listening to hours of gospel music as a kid, developing a vast knowledge of the industry. This led to an award winning radio show in Atlanta, and later in Killeen, TX. After a 4 year military career, a promotion to Captain soon gave way to an emerging music ministry which ultimately landed Tibbs back in Atlanta, GA. Bolstering a balance of passion and calm, Ps. Tibbs advances the Gospel of the Kingdom and promotes a balanced lifestyle. Married for more than 27 years, Tibbs and wife Kimberly have three (3) college age children who work in the ministry. After 16 years of ministry training under the leadership of Pastor Robin Hancox, Calvin Tibbs and wife Kimberly founded Kingdom Dominion Church in Villa Rica, GA. Citing how the Lord gave him the idea about how to write Jesus Said, the first time author thought the task was beyond his reach. But God's Barrier Breaker anointing has again come through as the book is now available in printed and ebook formats.

Inspiration

My writing is most influenced by reading the Word of God. It may sound corny, but in fact, the most interesting human and divine accounts are contained within its pages. From Joseph and his brothers, to Jesus and his haters, the word of God is living, the mind of God is available, and the power of Christ's influence daily awaits those who seek Him.
