Biography

The biggest edge I have as an author is the extreme depth I’ve had in the exploration of my spiritual life. I have learned from so many different studies from religions to non-religions and come to the conclusion that there is a universe of possibilities within us. I want to show you that rabbit hole. I am a storyteller first and foremost and writing is merely one avenue. I create experiences for a living. My books are not portals to another world you can escape to. What I do is create a tunnel to where you travel to, and cannot escape the living, breathing being that’s stuck on the other end. My promise to you is to make every heart beat imaginable.

Inspiration

Inspiration has always stemmed from my spiritual life that I've dove down deep in, understanding the universe both inner and outer, and it has brought back to me the rich layers of depth in all my storytelling. The Final Fantasy series will always be an influence. I grew up reading Stephen King, I was moved by Dean Koontz's Intensity (first time entering the mind of the antagonist), and my muse is the Goddess Shiva. Graphic novels as well as some anime/manga (Ghost in the Shell and Cobra come to mind respectively). Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series has had an impact on me, as well as his Objectivist philosophy. In my darkest hour of writing I draw much inspiration from the band Tool. I also love the dark mood and subtle storytelling of M. Night Shyamalan's stories. On the lighter side there is the artist Lights.
