Biography
"If the Great Spirit had desired me to be a white man he would have made me so in the first place. He put in your heart certain wishes and plans; in my heart he put other and different desires. Each man is good in the sight of the Great Spirit. It is not necessary that eagles should be crows." Sitting Bull When I first heard this terrific quote by the legendary Sitting Bull my mind snapped back into what I call a pleasurable existence. I had just finished four years in the United States Navy in San Diego California and without warning I decided to drive up to Los Angeles with little money and no idea what I was going to do. It was (and sometimes still is) hard to ignore the constant nagging of important individuals in your life. If you are told that what you want to do is not a successful job the fear of being unsuccessful destroys dreams. I visioned my dream when I was younger only to bury it under the rubble of fear. I am a recovering fearaholic. I no longer fear what I might become if I follow the path that I feel was destined for me. Humans scare me more than this desire to write and to achieve that comfortable position that I've always dreamed about. No more doubts and no more second guessing myself. I am determined. So if the Great Spirit desired me to follow another path then that path would have been set. I encourage you all to follow the path that you desire, as long as that path does not harm any one in any way. It is not necessary that eagles should be crows. My works have been featured in Dreampeople, Corpsefuck, Twisted Dreams Magazine, Silverthought.com, Whispers of Wickedness, and most recently midnightinhell.com My poetry has been featured on Rosebleed.org.
Inspiration
I'll jump on the bandwagon and say that Stephen King is a big influence regarding my writing. Jack Kerouac, Alice Walker, Allen Ginsberg, Jim Morrison, Anne Rice, and Raymond Carver have also played a huge part in my interest as a writer. Older stories and poems like Beowulf, The Raven, Gawain and the Green Knight, Grettir's Saga, Romeo and Juliet, have also influence me.
