Biography

I first started writing when I was about six years old. I started out writing lyrics, and when I was nine years old, I started writing short stories. When I was ten I moved on to full-legnth novels. At the age of 12, I started writing poetry. Currently I am working on a book series of nine, with the first installment finished and to be released for sale soonly. The first draft of the second installment is almost finished. My novel that I wrote for NaNoWriMo in 2008 was published March 28th, 2009 - a tribute to my parents as it was published on their anniversary. I'm a part of many organizations, and author groups, and recently acquired the title of "Editor" at Joyfully Reviewed. So far, this is all of my "story" that has been "written".

Inspiration

While I wouldn't call myself an "avid reader" I do read a lot more than most people. But reading really influenced my writing. I remember I read the Harry Potter series and I became completely obsessed with it, and I bought the book Muggles & Magic and I read an interview with J.K.Rowling in it, and she said "Anyone can be a writer". Those 5 words are really what caused me to start writing. I wanted to see my book on store shelves, I wanted to hold my own book perfectly bounded in my hands. That was the drive that kept me going towards my goal, that is why I am a published author.
