Greg Lilly is the author of FINGERING THE FAMILY JEWELS -- A Derek Mason Mystery (Quest Books), DEVIL'S BRIDGE (Regal Crest Enterprises), and UNDER A COPPER MOON (Cherokee McGhee).
Biography
I first turned to writing short stories after plot lines and characters emerged from the technical manuals I wrote for a large family-owned corporation. With the assistance of a hearty critique group of writers in Charlotte, North Carolina, I have published several short stories, numerous articles, and completed three novels. After writing DEVIL'S BRIDGE, the plot bloomed in my life and I decided to break free of the corporate world and simplify my life in Sedona, Arizona. After several years in Sedona (and learning a lot about myself and discovering what an authentic life means to me), family matters called me back East. Today, I live in Virginia and am working on my next novel. www.GregLilly.com
Inspiration
The relationships around me have inspired my work, from family dynamics in FINGERING THE FAMILY JEWELS, to the search for personal freedom and happiness in DEVIL'S BRIDGE, to the independent spirit of the women and minorities in the Old West in UNDER A COPPER MOON. Characters are the heart of any story and they create the plot. Readers say my books are page-turners and difficult to put down. That's great! I want a reader to get lost in the story, fall in love with the characters, and once the last page comes, want more.
