Biography

George's 22 years in financial service as a stockbroker, financial planner and lead writer for several major securities firms fine-tuned him to the financial needs, concerns and sentiments of today's Americans at all rungs of the ladder. He has ridden the financial roller coaster himself as an affluent "yuppie" in his thirties, down to poverty existence at age 50, and with the help of God and his 44-year supportive wife Carol, bootstrapping their way back to the state of financial wholeness they enjoy today. His work in ministry includes faith sharing and bible study leadership roles, lector, lector trainer, RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation) leader, Co-Chair of his church's pastoral council and Eucharistic minister. Inspiration

The urge to write surfaced in my mid-thirties during an unfulfilling career in sales. Self-published a few successful titles on the side in the '70s and '80s (on typewriters before PCs), but had to keep my sales day job to feed my family. Then through a bit of God's intervention was hired as a corporate writer, scrapped the sales career and never looked back. I'm now retired (correction...reFIRED) and am pulling out all the stops to learn online publishing and marketing. Currently have two titles on Kindle, a website, blog and am anxious to meet new friends in NB.
