Biography
Prior to penning fiction I spent a career writing sociology textbooks, scholarly articles, and opinion pieces. My articles have appeared in USA Today, the San Diego Union-Tribune, Seattle Post-Intelligencer, Houston Chronicle and Baltimore Sun among other newspapers in the United States and Canada. I've also had some success writing short plays with performances in New York City, Connecticut, Rhode Island, California, and South Carolina. The Power of the Dark Goddess and Other Stories is my first collection of short fiction. Please visit my website at: www.kalithedarkgoddess.com
Inspiration
One can't wait for inspiration, at least that's never worked for me. Consider the words of English novelist William Makepeace Thackery (1811 - 1863) author of Vanity Fair: "There are a thousand thoughts lying within a man that he does not know till he takes a pen to write." Inspiration = put butt in chair and start writing.
