Biography

Born in Berlin Germany in 1942. After our apartment building was bombed, we moved in with my grandmother in Potsdam. After the war, Potsdam became part of the communist regime. Escaped to West Berlin in 1952 and four years later steamed into New York City. Graduated from High School in 1961 and in Jan 1962, joined the Navy. In i969 retired from the Navy Reserve holding the rank of Senior Chief. Joined the Cleveland Police department in 1969 and retired in 1998 with the rank of Lieutanant. Headed the Vice Squad for four years. Boy, could I tell you some stories...

Inspiration

I never thought I would write. Last year my wife said, "Why don't you get of your fat ass and do something around here. Go cut the grass or power wash the deck." I looked at her sitting on the recliner, munching on a one-million calory loaded sandwich. Well, that was my inspiration to do something. But what? Write. I'll write a book and become famous. Move over Stephen King. One year later my book, Cops, Donuts, and Murder, was published. My second book; BUSTed is being edited and my third novel, Ghost Bride is on my back burner.
