Biography

I have been writing novels for over 15 years and have published all of them. I write Science Fiction, Fantasy, Poetry, Thrillers, Romance and children's books. Several of my novels are also joint efforts with other writers of Science Fiction. I also write music and have been credited with writing the Theme music for the movie Blue Water Odyssey. I am a single mom, with a 23 year old genius who is going for his Doctorate this year in Genetics. I am fairly laid back but find life an interesting mix of cultures. I do enjoy the outdoors and do have an eclectic life style with doing extreme sports like martial arts, white water rafting, sailing, hang gliding, paragliding, skydiving, abseiling and mountain horse-riding, I temper that by surf fishing and diving, or going to museums. My hobbies are numerous and interesting. Reading, Art, movies, music, antiquities etc. I like meeting new people and making friends wherever I go.

Inspiration

My inspiration comes from my friends. They encouraged me to start writing. I used to write short stories with a lot of humor thrown in and my friends suggested after my one adventure in Europe to write a novel. It was slow going at first. But after I was accepted, I began writing in earnest. I always research my stories thoroughly. There is nothing worse then reading about a place you know and the writer hasn't done his or her basic homework. I have visited over 23 countries around the world, and taken basic details like street names, and where notable places are in relation to whatever story I intend writing about, besides visiting the country. My children's tales are in prose, as that is how I envision the stories.
