My different drummer can't seem to find the beat, so I'm all over the field: introspective and/or zany stories of how women find value within themselves to romantic murder mysteries.
Look and Listen
Biography
I made up silly rhymes as a pre-schooler and wrote horse stories in grade school. Then I discovered literature and learned discipline and how not to "unsaddle the horse and ride the ass," and ended up with a Ph.D. in English along the way. And then I slept for a couple decades. I'm awake and well-rested now, promoting my first published novel, polishing other MSS, and always writing the next story. I continue to live near the shores of Lake Erie.
Inspiration
Everything, half a century of internalizing written expressions of living language, Mark Twain and Fannie Flagg looking over Donne's shoulder as he writes the Holy Sonnets. It's the absorbed rhythm and flow that have enduring influence.
