Biography

I am Vice President and co-founder of Palladian International, LLC, an executive recruiting firm. We also help job seekers with resume writing and interview preparation. I am a graduate of the Management and Technology Program at the University of Pennsylvania, where I concurrently earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of Business. My experience is in manufacturing, distribution, accounting, finance and human resources, gained from positions at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Newell-Rubbermaid, Kforce, Raymond James and Target Corp. In 2006, I joined the Board of Directors of the Blue Ridge Chapter of APICS and in 2009 was elected Chapter President.

Inspiration

In my executive recruiting firm, I developed a number of tools and techniques to help the candidates I represented. For candidates that weren't a fit for my clients, there was little I could do to help them. Over time, I recognized that a lot of job seekers needed help and I started writing a blog. This quickly expanded from a few posts a week to daily postings. The more I wrote and the more I read, I realized job seekers really need clear, simple and straight-forward instructions. This prompted me to start writing a book on interviewing with my business partner. We were committed to developing a concise guide that would help a job seeker quickly. With our first book complete, I'm still writing the blog and thinking about my next book.
