Biography
Evemarie Elliott, known as Eve, was born in Detroit, MI in 1949. Suddenly single and widowed, my writings focus on the rebirth of a sixty yr. old woman. My joy comes from 4 children and 9 grandchildren, that have now scattered across the country. I have spent years as a culinary herb grower, rabbit raiser, Letter Carrier, writer/editor/publisher of Southern Herbs Newsletter, tropical fruit grower, civilian secretary to the USAF, caregiver for a dying diabetic husband, Program Technician for USDA/FSA and presently retired and working for artists friends that can not market themselves as an agent/promoter. No matter how difficult life gets, I have the attitude to jump back, regroup my emotions and thoughts and to strike out with renewed joy. Life is the gift. Choose the positive high road when the negative is the easy way to out. I made a conscious choice to be a giver, to help people, to remain calm in the storm, and to be the backbone for others that can't find their way. I reside in MI and FL as the need suits me, and my adventures take me.
Inspiration
My son inspires me to write. I always assume that everyone knows what I know. My children have reminded me many times to share the events and thoughts of my life along the way. Did you know that Rubber Cement will hold up knee-hi stockings? It's just a fact I learned before attending a conference..
