Biography

I am a passionate writer. I am was born and still live in Texas. I have two wonderful children and two awesome granddaughters.

Inspiration

Some of my inspiration came from my mother, who is my hero. I am passionate about my beliefs, fiercely loyal, and love nature. I do sometimes have wanderlust. I suppose that's an inherent nomadic trait. Some of the events that have shaped my life have been tragedies, but they have made me stronger. My father was a prolific writer and although he never accomplished much with his talent, I am proud that I inherited my passion from him and hope to honor that. I have always had a love of the written word. My mother read to me and my siblings even before we could read for ourselves. Although my writing was more sporadic in my early years, I began writing in earnest about 10 years ago. While I have much to learn, I have learned a lot. I see a blank page as a canvas, words as the paint, with the pen as my brush. I hope to create many 'paintings' as I grow.
