Biography

Never wanted to be a writer but I was coerced at beer point to do just that. Done the newsroom thing, did the roving war correspondent thing and am now back to doing what I really enjoy and that is doing the observing thing and of course writing all the stuff down. I have never lived in the box and as I get older I get more stubborn about doing just that. I am presently surrounded by staid expats who need a good arse-kicking every once in awhile so believe me, lots of cannon fodder for this punk scribe.

Inspiration

My travel(s) are the biggest influence to be sure but being an unconventional chick ranks a near second. I am either applauded or vilified for my words and that suits me just fine. I have a lust for life and do not accept much at face value. I would rather find things out for myself and if I am to be corrected later I accept my mistakes somewhat graciously but man, a good argument can often be the most inspiring as long as nobody gets a broke nose!
