Biography

David Conte was born and raised in Massachusetts. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He's worked as as store cashier, custodian, painter, food server, district attorney's office intern, consulting firm temp, landscaper, postal carrier, security guard, health care employee, private investigator, staff supervisor, ESL teacher, and proofreader. After spending most of his life in his native Boston area, he one day found himself living in Frankfurt, Germany, in the fortunate company of a lovely Berliner. While working on the elusive award-winning poem and groundbreaking novel, he dreams up ideas on how to rediscover the world. David now lives in New York City with his wife.

Inspiration

When I was a young boy, it was all books, movies, and imagination.
