Biography

DJ Hussey has worn many hats throughout the past thirty years: wife, mother, landlord, financial counselor for the Navy, bookkeeper, teacher, administrative analyst for an oil company, legal secretary, and now budding author. Now primarily a stay-at-home mother and caught in the sandwich generation of caretaker along side her husband for a dozen years intertwined with her many hats, has afforded her the opportunity to not only assist her family; but have exposure to many career and life opportunities. Add this to being an Air Force brat and having met many people from diverse backgrounds and genre, couple this with a vivid imagination, and she has produced her first novel, "Realm of Deceit". When not writing; DJ is an avid boater, loves cross-stitching and traveling. She is currently directing her attention in writing a sequel to the Realm of Deceit. DJ now splits her time between Mississippi, Florida, and the Bahamas with her husband and sons.

Inspiration

The current political climate in the U.S. and abroad is a breeding ground of inspiration for building mystery and intrigue set in a global setting. My constant wondering of what if this or that happened, and what would result has triggered my imagination and has resulted in my putting pen to paper.
