Ms. Fritter is a member of the Electronic Publishers Internet Connection. Ms. Fritter has lived in south-central Wisconsin all but six months of her life. She spent most of her days growing up in Madison where she was born, but never forgot about her childhood years in Lake Mills during the early 1960s. She and her husband, Randy, returned to Lake Mills approximately 4 years ago and plan to stay in the area until they retire to Oklahoma. If it's one thing Debbie’s learned over the years of her life it's that you can never stop dreaming and reaching for the stars, because sooner or later you just may get to touch one and it'll bring you more happiness than you can ever imagine. She feels lucky, and blessed, that over the past couple of years to have been able to reach out and touch two stars ... and she’s still reaching for more.
Inspiration
Geez, this can be a hard thing to try to explain. I guess I play the "what if" game alot. For instance, an idea came to me when I saw the cover of a weekly magazine. On the cover was a picture of a woman who did roller derby and instantly a story popped into my head. I have things like this happen off and on, even while on vacation and my husband and I are somewhere I'll get this look on my face and he knows something's cooking. In BY THE BLUE MOON (Loose-Id.com, September 2007), the idea came from a legion that lingers in the county where we live. There's believed to be a "beast" that lives in the Kettle Moraine Forest and I thought "what if" there really were werewolves who lived amongst us and we didn't know it. Next thing you know, I passed the idea along to three other authors and we came up with an erotic family saga based on that legend. I've also gotten ideas from dreams that I've had...and believe me I dream on almost a nightly basis. Playing the "what if" game is fun and it gets your imagination going.
