Biography

David Fredrickson was a pastor for almost 30 years and traveled the world preaching, teaching and training church leaders. In 2001 a fresh understanding of life in God's family moved him to begin a spiritual journey that became the subject for his first book and an award-winning DVD. He currently writes and produces for Family Room Media. David loves to laugh and make others laugh with him, and sometimes approaches serious subjects with irreverent humor. He and his wife Rachel live in Citrus Heights, California.

Inspiration

During the years that I pastored, my passion was to see others grow into an intimate relationship with God. Yet I couldn't deny that many Christians served God from a sense of duty or a motivaion of guilt. I saw that what we call church today is a far cry from what we read about in the New Testament. This revelation moved me to begin a challenging and exciting journey of discovery that served as the inspiration for my first book.
