Biography

I live with my wife in St Augustine Florida. During the day I manage the construction of medical centers & office buildings, a very cool way to make a living. Our sons are grown & have made us really proud. We have 2 outrageously cute grandkids (they look like me). Okay, that's not true - they look like my wife. My first book, BAD LATITUDE - A JACK RACKHAM ADVENTURE was a blast to write & is doing well in these parts. The sequel will be out soon and is called RECKLESS ENDEAVOR. Inspiration

Multi - part answer - Sorry, nothing's ever easy. (1) My grandfather was a storyteller. It's in the genes. (2) My dad (wheelchair bound for his last 30 years) The most positive & cheerful guy I've ever known. He always encouraged me to pursue my dreams. Writing was one of them. (3) My kids - We always played a game when they were little. They gave me a topic & I had 30 seconds to make up a 20/30 minute story. (Hint - I was never stumped!) (4) My grandkids - BAD LATITUDE started out as a short story for them. (Did I mention they're cute?) Since they live up north - I don't get much face time with 'em. The story turned into a book, which, I've decided, is so much better than a Hallmark Card. (5) Most Important Influence - My wife - Always in my corner - what a cheerleader & marketer (& best friend)! Oh, & she's an amazing photographer. (6) I'm an avid reader.
